In addition to the latest NBA 2K22 patch released earlier, 2K has announced the first details for its upcoming Season 3: Iced Out. So what does it bring to MyTeam mode?

NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Season 3 Release Date
NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Season 3 will be released on Friday, December 3rd. The season is expected to last until sometime around January 14, 2022.
Details of NBA 2K22 MyTeam Season 3
1). The new season will feature City Jerseys and City Courts in MyTeam.
• You earn the franchise by getting a win Triple Threat Online: The 100 using 3 players from a specific team.
• For courts, you need to match that franchise's single-game scoring record in a game.
2). A new Domination mode will be added mid-season with Pink Diamond reward.
• Per 2K's blog: "Similar to last year, you will NOT need to complete the Current, All-Time, and NBA 75 Dominations to compete in this fourth set of 33 games."
3). A "Beyond Level 40" agenda group will return.
• But the reward is key. You will get an option pack of any Pink Diamond reward from the Limited, Draft, Ascension, TTOnline/Offline modes. So if you miss out on a card, or you miss a weekend of Limited, you can still get that card. Of course, other rewards are also included, such as 2K22 MT, Tokens, VC, etc.
4). The season will start with a Signature Challenge with Damian Lillard.
• You will earn a Ruby Perimeter-Centric Damian Lillard player-coach card for winning.

• Unlimited — Pink Diamond Jason Richardson
• Limited mode — Pink Diamond Dan Majerle

NBA 2K22 Clutch Time MyTEAM Game Mode Details for Season 3
Season 3 will include a new MyTEAM game mode called Clutch Time which features 5v5 gameplay with just one quarter to make your mark and tons of new content to grind for across the board. Here is a quick summary of the details:
• A brand new MyTEAM mode in Season 3 of NBA 2K22.
• Fast pace 5v5 online competition with no lineup restrictions.
• New court with a mural background of NBA legends.
• It will take place in only 1 quarter (4th quarter), with a 5-minute clock.
• 4 point shots.
• Sudden death overtime rules.
• No bench players.
• Exclusive seasonal rewards.
• There's a 50-win ladder each season. After most wins, you get a wheel spin. There will be a Pink Diamond-level player card on the wheel that you can get after every win.
• 10-game tier throughout the season that players can advance through. If you lose 3 games in a row, you get reset to the beginning of the tier.
• At the 10-, 30- and 50-win mark, players will unlock rewards. At 10 wins, you get a Ruby-level player. At 30 wins, you get a Diamond player. At 50 wins, you get a Pink Diamond player.
• After 50 wins, each win gives you an additional wheel spin for a chance at the wheel-based Pink Diamond player.
